Creating new issues manually

There are two ways to create issues manually in the platform: 

via the '+add' button in any Issues preview panel;

or via the '+ create new issue' button found on issues browse grids and issues boards.

This brings up the new issue form where the user can capture information about the issue.

Creating issues via rules

Issues can also be created automatically in Envizi as a result of alerts or rules being triggered. This functionality is described in detail in the Building Energy Performance Analytics and Equipment Fault Detection modules. 

Creating issues via a connector

Issues can also be created and updated via the Setup Issues connector. Please contact support if you wish to use this option.
