Virtual Accounts Example - Tenancy Usage

The following video example demonstrates how to allocate the consumption and cost from a single main electricity account to several tenants based on the relative floor area each tenant occupies. The video shows the following steps:

• Create a Virtual Data Rule to derive a tenants electricity kWh consumption based on the floor area that tenant occupies.

• Create a Virtual Data Rule to derive a tenants electricity cost based on the floor area that tenant occupies

• Configure a virtual scope 3 electricity account for each tenant.

• Review results and assign consolidation tag to avoid double-counting.
