Informing New Users about Access to Envizi

If you want to automatically notify new users that they have been given access to Envizi, you can enable the Automated User Activation Email feature by navigating to Admin → Organization Preferences → User Creations Preferences and setting Automated User Activation Email to Yes.

When users are created manually, via a set up template or are auto provisioned, the users will then receive an email informing them that they have been given access to Envizi.

Non SSO

If your organization does not use SSO using SAML, the new users will receive two emails, one email with their username and one email a minute later with the link to activate their login. The link in the second email, which is valid for 48 hours only, takes the user to the reset password page so that they can set their password and then login.

If you organization uses SSO to login to Envizi but not with the SAML method, then users will be considered non SSO and will receive the emails as per above, so this feature may not be suitable for you and thus you would not enable it.

SSO

If your organization does use SSO using SAML, the new users will receive one email with their username and a link to the login page.

If your organization has a custom url for Envizi, the Login link would not use your custom url so this feature may not be suitable for you and thus you would not enable it.
