Data Types

Data types in Envizi describe and single measure or activity.

Examples of a data types are Electricity, Diesel, Natural Gas, Refrigerant R12, Water or Employees.  This is also how Envizi separates emission sources, energy consumption, energy production or any other pieces of data from each other.  With each data type, Envizi stores all data captured in a single unit of measure.  Envizi has the flexibility to capture or report data in multiple units of measure, but in the Envizi database, all data is stored in a single unit of measure. 

Data types are grouped into Categories for reporting and analysis at a more aggregated level.
